Tax on second income

I retired from teaching this year and I have a small teacher's pension. I was able to get a part time admin job - 10 hours a week - not great pay but it helps a lot. I am taxed on my teacher's pension. Does the amount that I am taxed on my teacher's pension remain the same. As far as I know I get taxed separately on my second income.:cool:
