Breadcrumb topping for fish

I bought some coley this week and would like to top it with a breadcrumb topping...I've got breadcrumbs in the freezer and parmesan cheese, plus chives in the garden....would this be ok just mixed together and put on the top???:confused:

    yes it would be lovely. Bind either with olive oil or pesto

    Mayonnaise spread on the fish first is a good way to keep the crumbs in place. It keeps the fish moist too.
  • Fry some blitzed chorizo sausage in a little olive oil until the oil starts to take on the red colour of the sausage, then add the breadcrumbs and stir round until the breadcrumbs take on the red colouring. Quickly add the parmesan before placing over the fish.
    Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints

    Taz....Do you think that would also work with Salami as I have some in the fridge to be used up???
