Hot Air Balloon Ride?

Hello all

It's my mums 60th Birthday this weekend and i've been really struggling to think of something special to get her.

It came to me last night that she has always wanted to go up in a hot air balloon.

Is it a good idea for someone of her *ahem* maturity *ahem*

Anyone know of anywhere in the Lincs or surrounding area that do these at a reasonable price. I've had a quick look on the google and virgin do it for about £160 which seems a bit steep.

Sorry but thats about the going rate for a trip in one. My ex brother in law paid £199 so I think thats about the normal price. Wonderful experience though so maybe worth the money.

We got one for Mother in Laws 60th in June through Virgin, it was expensive but if I remember correctly they were the best package for the money.

We put the voucher in a huge big box full of virgin balloons (they sent them to us with the voucher) and wrapped it up - it was a lovely surprise.
