DMP with CCCS - So Worried I feel sick!

Well we have faced our demons and in the process of sorting a DMP with CCCS for the available monies of £214.00 per month but I feel so sick to the stomach about it all instead of some relief at finally doing something about it.
I am so worried about whether we could still receive a CCJ even when on a DMP and we could lose our home even though our mortgage/secured loan are always paid. What if the companies we owe to dont want to accept a repayment structure? We are hoping to set up plans with the following:
Smile Bank - Overdraft/Credit Card
Morgan Stanley (now Barclaycard)
GM Card
Alliance & Leicester Credit Card
Egg Loan
Egg Card
Littlewoods/Littlewoods Direct/Empire Stores (all the same company)
Verbaudet/La REdoute (the same company too)
If they didnt accept the payments and know we are in financial difficulty would they default immediately and CCJ us?
Does anyone have any experience with the above and trying to sort a DMP with them?
Any assurances would be greatly appreciated cos I am making myself ill with worry..........
ps. As a token payment how much would I need to send for this month as I dont think the plan will be sorted until Nov/Dec?

First of all, don't panic. There are thousands of us in the same boat.
With regards to your creditors, the only ones I have experience of are Egg. I had a loan and a card with them too and both transferred to a DMP very easily. They sold the card debt to a DCA who are happy to accept the DMP and Egg themselves kept the loan debt (also happy to accept DMP)
You'll prob find the majority of creditors will accept.
With regards to token payments, pay what you can afford.
And keep smiling - you've taken the first step to becoming debt free!!

Token payments, £1 postal order to each card or loan. So for Egg £1 for the card, £1 for the loan.
As for defaults and CCJs, have a look through the factsheets here: http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/debt_advice.php They explain a lot, any further questions just ask

I'm in a similar position to you, so I'll be keeping an eye on this thread with interest
So scary isn't it all

Hi
It's unlikely you will lose your house as long as you keep up your mortgage and secured loans. However, creditors can take you to court at any time and issue CCJ's or apply for a CO - this is a risk however, is a long way off yet.
I've been on my dmp with CCCS since January and so far everything has been going well and so far, I've had no court action although I do own a property.
As for your list of creditors, the only one I have is Barclaycard who were a complete pain to be honest. They've been quiet though since May and appear to be accepting my dmp payments.
Good luck with it all.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
Mortgage free since 2014

Have a look at the following thread about people who have been in your shoes and are out (or on their way out) of the other side:

I went to the court last month to stop a forthwith just before this new business missing out the forthwith. The judge indicated to me after I pointed out a few facts on the terms and conditions that I should have defended the ccj instead of (after listening to solicitors) part defending. As Egg Loan had broken the terms and conditions by extending the loan date to eight years instead of seven after a three month payment break as in their terms and conditions it states that it must not extend over the seven years starting from when the loan was taken out. He also indicated that I am at liberty to go back to court and get the ccj thrown out. But I did win the day by upping my offer of payment - I do understand how sick everyone feels about all this but I do feel that the banks are culpable in most cases where they have offered consolidation loans - every time I rang to talk about my credit card they tried to push a loan on to me. I was physically sick before I went to court. Any thoughts on this?? Anyone? As I have now to deal with the credit card as they were suddenly very quick to pass that on to Drydens after an adjournment by the Court even though I had an arrangement paying the credit card (six months)
