Moorcroft - help needed please

Hi All,

Please excuse me for posting this again, but can't find my original post.

In April 2008 I sent a letter recorded delivery to Moorcroft disputing an amount of £300. This 'debt' had been sold on by Yellow Pages. I disputed the amount as I believe I was mis-sold a product by the representative of Yellow Pages. Despite many requests by me to Yell asking for the proof of the product, they can not provide me with it (hope that makes sense).

I have never received a reply from Moorcroft, but I want closure on the matter. I am concerned that they will sell the 'debt' on again to another DCA but I also don't want to 'remind' them that I'm still here!.

I've been on the Consumer direct website but had no joy.

Anybody have any advice please.

Many thanks
Babbit x

If you were missold something, did you notify trading standards or anyone?

I'm not sure how you go about dealing with missold items, but might possibly be worth contacting CAB or posting on the consumeractiongroup forum incase they can advise.
