wow...what a deal!! cupcakes & cinema tickets

Got the cakes, just entered the code but it's saying you now need 250 points for the cinema tickets! apparently the offer on 120 points was for a limited number of tickets :eek: I didn't realise this or I wouldn't have bothered :mad:

All the other offers look a bit rubbish, can anyone help? has anyone seen anything good that I can get with my 120 points?

I think there are 3 options, £2.50 off, £5.00 off and free.

just checked - they've changed it to half price with 75 points. bah

I went out over the weekend and bought 12 boxes of cupcakes at Homebargains for 39p a box, thought I had a great deal to get the cinema tickets until I entered the codes and found that you need 250 points now:mad:

There is no way I'm going to buy another 13 boxes, hard enough getting rid of these 12 boxes and I felt such a pig at the pay counter!

Well thats just terrible, more than double the points needed !!!!:mad:

I think the cupcakes are cheap and nasty, and now I'm stuck with box fulls.
I'm certainly never buying any of this brand again, both due to quality, and in protest to me not getting my cheap cinema tickets.

Just to let you know, I contaced fabpoints on the contacts page to say how disappointed I was with te tickets being sold out. I had an email back from a really nice chap who sorted it out for me.

My initial opinion on Fabpoints was good, they appeared to have some good points, like "do not over indulge just to get the points etc." I, like everyone else then changed my opinions cos I felt let down.

However I have to say and not just cos had my tickets, that I've gone back to my original opinions. I think that these are genuine good guys who may have made a booboo but will treat you as an individual.

I give them gold star for customer service.

I agree the Lyons chocolate cupcakes are superior. But where can you buy them now?

Is there anything worth doing on here now? I've got 160 points but can't really see anything to do :rolleyes: Shame you have to have 500points for a payout, don't think i want to buy 34 more packets to get it
