Disabled child push chair

Hello everyone, I'm in need of some help, hopefully someone will beable to help,
My daughter has cerebal palsy, shes almost 4 years old, and currently she fits in an normal graco buggy, but will be outgrowing it very soon. We are expecting our next child and so we really going to need a double buggy to cater for both. Now a search online we managed to find something similar to what we like here:

Anyone know of any places in the uk that would cater for our needs?

Thanks in advance

Have you tried asking your OT or physio? When I worked for social services we subscribed to the DLF which allowed us to search for suppliers of various types of equipment. They sent out big catalogues, plus you could search online or phone the helpline.

http://www.dlf.org.uk/factsheets/pdf/Choosing_childrens_mobility_equipment.pdf - this is a factsheet you may find of interest.

If you are looking for a standard double rather than a specialised one then try ebay or https://www.pushchair.co.uk

I was going to suggest a Baby Jogger and having looked at your link I see that you've already seen them :)

I've had my Baby Jogger for six years. I've done MANY miles with it, had it over some serious terrain and never had any problems. I currently have my second child in it. My first child was happy in in until she was five and she's a BIG girl..... that's in a regular Baby Jogger with 16" wheels.

They also do single special needs buggy HERE

It's the lightest pram I've ever used. I've had it up mountains, over beaches and through shin-deep mud. It's easy to get up and down steps, glides up and down pavements and you can take it apart, wash the fabric and hose the frame down :)
Just run, run and keep on running!

Thanks for the replies i have something to go on, question is, is there any way i can try out some of the pushchairs before i go with a single model? I know the more mainstream ones will probably be available from the usual outlets but i'd really want to try something that will last for a few years.. Although thinking about it I guess as we are having the 2nd child, a normal 2 seater might suffice until he/she starts walking and then maybe i'll invest in the baby jogger or something similar for the later years 5/6 years+.
