this reminds me of the time i bought my niece an expensive little purse she was after and put a some money in the zipper pocket on the inside. i had told her previously about the saying that you cant give an empty purse as it's bad luck. a hint so she'd look inside however it took her till february to find it i just assumed she'd found it, but i did wonder why my SIL kept going on about her only getting a purse and my nephew getting lot's of bits and bats !!:D just thought i'd share.
i do like the money maze game thingy it's a good idea

Hi I bought one of those last year to put money in for my son, I managed to find a money off voucher online, have you tried looking to see if there are any for the store where you have found it, hotdeals uk is usually good for vouchers. I bought mine from firebox but it is not any cheaper than you have found it.

Last year I opened the bottom end of one of those ring pull baked bean tins with one of those tin openers that takes the whole lid off IYKWIM, emptied contents, washed tin out, glued a stone from the garden to the with hot glue to the disc part put some money in the tin and glued the disc part back on and wrapped the tin up. DD's face was a picture when she thought I'd given her baked beans for Christmas.0

You could get two christmas gift cards ones that have little envelopes and put in the voucher with each child`s name written on top with glitter pen.
Then on ebay buy 1 Floristry Transporter Living Vase in GOLD and put cello or dry oasis in base add their favourites sweets , mallow snowman, santas any christmas themed sweet secured in with wooden/ bambo skewers. Attach the little envelopes to skewers and decorate with more tissue around the base.
The vase i`ve seen for 1.59 and the skewers 1.50 add some sweets and hey presto.:D0 -

Ready made pop up :3D POP UP SNOWGLOBE CHRISTMAS CARD 120315813377 £1.75 and postage is 75p most buyers reduce postage for more than one item.
