Best Rate with no arrangement fee?(remortgage)

Hello,

Can anyone help find a remortgage with a good fixed rate and no arrangement fee?
Currently our mortgage is with RBS and our fixed rate has just ended. They have offered us 2yr variable at 1.54 above the base rate.
We owe just short of 60k and current payments are £595,we are open to options and are willing to pay around 10% more to end the mortgage sooner.

Cheers for any advice.

Leanne

feisty, could you please not post using textspeak, as it is very difficult to read.

Leanne, see if the RBS can offer you a longer deal - 5 years or so in order to avoid future arrangement fees. You could ask about cutting the term by a few years and see what difference it would make to your payments.

Does it have to be fixed,

FD offet tracker at 0.79% above(5.29%) is probably the best no fee deal around( no entry or exit fees) 80%max LTV.

I have just applied for a Northern Rock one, 5.99 for five years, no arrangement/surveyancy fees and you can overpay as much as you like as long as you leave £100 (I THINK that's the right amount) in the account. The only fee is that you have to pay £250 to leave the mortgage at the end of the 5 years.

sorry you've taken this so personally - I'm not being 'grumpy', I just find your post difficult to read and didn't think you'd take offence to having this pointed out to you when it is so easy to change.
