Best way to get rust spots off our kettle?

Hi,

Looking for some advice we have small rust spots on the top of our (very expensive) kettle. What is the best way to remove these from it?

Thanks

I have used bar keepers friend from Lakeland to take rust spots off various things and find that it works wonders - think Tesco and other hardware stores sell it. Cant remember how much it was. Good luck

I think it depends on the what your kettle is made of, I have had very good results with white vinegar and lemon juice but they are not recommended for some metals, I am thinking if this is an expensive kettle then you may be better off using a product usually recommended for jewellery, something like bi-carbarbonate of soda and just gently rubbing. hope this helps
