I admit to not knowing a great deal about this subject but surely this company are guilty of harassment and might they not be acting unlawfully?

Hi,

I received two letters on the same date from this company.

They are telling me I owe money to London Electric (never even heard of them?) even though I am with NPower.

This is just another debt collecting company trying to make people think they owe money, which they dont!

DO NOT PAY THEM!

they are complete idiots, and you will have to be really really tough with them to make them leave you alone

This IS harassment!-If they're really bugging you,send them a letter via recorded delivery and formally warn them that they're harrassing you and you're seriously considering legal action against them.

I received an email from them afew weeks ago apparently to do with a Scottish gas bill which i have never owned.When i replied to them telling them that it wasnt my bill,they seemed to think that its ok to bullly me!...Oh no!!!!...I told them where to go and i did let them know that they should consider my email as a formal warning.Got a response a few days letter apologising for an "error" with their system....They told me that they wont send me anything anymore-and they stopped....!

Sometimes,you just have to be firm with them and they cant touch you.We have enough on our plates without companies like this thinking that its ok to harrass you because you innocently phoned them about their correspondence.

I can confirm that LCS is a debt collecting agency as i soon found out when I was on a payment plan with EDF to pay off £158 off a final bill when swapping over to British gas and without any warning EDF passed me over to this LCS company without any warning at all and then had to arrange the same payment plan with LCS.I have never been to a debt collecting agency and i went mad with EDF as it was down right rude to pass me over without any warning and any reason.EDF was going to recall the debt from LCS but as i had already agreed over the phone with LCS with the same payment plan EDF just apologised and left it at that! So i know which electricity company i would never go with again!!!! and for LCS well i can't wait to get the rest of the payments off!

P.s And LCS HAVE NO SYMPATHY FOR PEOPLE BEING DISABLED AND ON LOW DISABILTY LIVING ALLOWANCE WHICH IS A PITANCE

I got a card from LCS, but it was for a previous tenant.

Oddly enough, although it states when they intend to call, and includes a telephone number to call (an 0844 one, naturally) should the date and time not be convenient, there's no mention of the possibility the addressee doesn't live here.
