Help with a Default

Hi All,

Recently I looked at my credit report and noticed a default from a catalogue company at my previous address in 2006. I know about the debt but have no recollection of the default. I was advised to write to them and ask for a copy of the agreement, a signed true and certified copy of the default and a deed of assignment if the debt was sold on. If they didn't provide them I could ask them to remove the default.

I've now had a letter back in which they provided me with a unsigned credit agreement and also stated that default notice's were produced by computer and they don't retain copies of them, they also said that the deed of assignment should come from the DCA that the account was transferred to (who ever these are!)

I'm not sure where to go from here now. Is this reply from them acceptable or should i push any more ??

All advice greatly received !!
