more questions lol
so i know i need a seperate bank account ( basic account) away from people i owe money to so that when i start me br lloyds dont just take all my wages.
i have opened up an account with coop. but was i supposed to wait till br start and was i supposed to tell them/ do i have to tell them im bankrupt when it all happens ?
the account is a coop cashminder basic account no overdraft no cheques etc etc just a electron debit card.

Hi. You have the right account and that's fine. I opened mine before BR and got my pensions and incomings paid into it on recommendation of the CAB who were concerned that as I owed the original bank a lot of money my incomings would disappear and I would have nothing to live on.
The account was not frozen and the OR informed the Coop that they had no interest as was to be used for my living expenses.
I did tell the Coop when setting up I was to become BR and when I did become BR and there was no problem at either time. It was the type of account set up for people in my circumstances, they said.
So don't worry. Just get wages paid into it asap and transfer over any dds that you will need to continue to pay after BR, cancelling all the otheres. It will be fine.Bankrupt 11th June 2008

yeah i got that account as it seemed ike one you ment to have but at time i was thinking of IVA but since then realised i wouldnt be able to make payments even if they did accpet it.
anyway thanks for putting my mind at rest. will tell them next time i am in there just to be safe thanks
