Rocking Horse for £19.99 from Empire Stores - have you had yours confirmed?

I placed an order for one of these on Saturday evening. The order went though and came up saying that it would be delivered by Wednesday 7th Dec. Anyway, I didn't receive an email confirming the order so decided to ring up. They have no record of this order and now it is out of stock. I am soooooo disapointed as it was to be my daughters main christmas pressie!! :mad:

Has anyone else had this problem?

No also placed the order Saturday evening, is now showing as ready to dispatch. Only bought it as it was a bargain giving it to charity.

My husband ordered it and he is a first time users so doesn't have a customer number to check. I am so upset about it.

They were in stock yesterday afternoon as my mum ordered 2 for the grandkids...she isnt a customer and paid by cc so no ref number to check either. she did get a confirmation email but it was blank! We'll just have to wait and see I think.
On the site it said 2 - 3 weeks delivery.

This is the same as me so it looks as though you're not going to be getting yours neither. I've been looking now at one in Argos for £34.99, now that it appears that I am not going to get it.

I placed an order a week or so ago, and because I was so focused on putting the code in the box I couldn't remember if I had put my email address in and I didn't receive an order confirmation, I was suprised when the order actually arrived as I didn't receive any emails at all from them, so don't give up altogether. Also I remember someone on this forum mentioning that when they placed their first order they rang Empire to see if they had received the order and they also said they had no record of it, but the order still turned up. So if you can I would wait a few more days to see if it arrives, they usually deliver the goods quickly.

They don't take payment untill they despatch the item, so you should be ok.

Thanks, ill let you all know if i get it ,it said delivery was 7th so fingers crossed.
