we have had the same conversation for as long I can remember, I want to do something she thinks its stupid scary impossible, she worries I get annoyed she gets up upset, I constant think she thinks I am useless I say so she gets very upset and says the immortal phrase "i can't say anything to you" and thus won't talk to me.
I should just learn to keep my stupid mouth shut.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

everything! its just because she worries. about everything. from losing my hamster(!) to me being in danger if I go out. she worries about my work, my lack of social life, my studies, she is sometimes so negative. when I was young I just never told her anything. now I try and tell her things cos hey I am a grown up. but invariably I end up feeling bad or not doing the thing I wanted to.
deep breath. cheers redxxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Oh dear, I suppose we're always their 'kids' no matter how old we are!

Evening all,
Well, mini pumpkin pies were a hit! Even DD and DS liked them! I used this recipe...http://www.pumpkinpatchesandmore.org/pumpkinpie.php
My auntie in Canada gave me the link-I didn't use the salt and used demerara sugar-also didnt have any cloves but no one noticed, lol.
Apparently, all the comuters are down at work, and will be until Wed so we can't even sell anything! !!!!!!!? I also have to open myslef and be there from 10-8 ALONE (well, the administrator dude will be in the back crunching numbers) Seems daft to me but hey ho.
BB-the picture is gorgeous!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Hi
I dont usually post here, but I have had a really good day, but no one to tell
(guess that makes me billy no mates) Dh in bed got to be up early, nerdy son on the computer, think I could run though the lounge naked singin "I want to break free" and all he would say is "Thats nice mum" DD is in Doncaster at college, she used to talk to me (wistful sigh) but she only started in September and I am trying not to be clingy mum; but i do miss her chat.
My good day. I cleaned all the vegetables I picked at the allotment, I cooked my beets to pickle. I photographed and listed 5 items on ebay (I have challenged myself to do 5 per day until stuff is all gone) I cleaned and hoovered front room after ousting teenage son and mate out who had been staying all weekend. Had a nice surprise of choccys that said mates mum brought round when she collected him so we had tea, chat and choccy.
I have brushed little dog, until she gleemed (well her coat shines now) in the absence of fleas which cost me £22 to get rid of.
So I may go and comandeer the tv and eat chocolate, then find a book i havent read and go to bed. (how sad?)My finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -
