I always view any new poster who "finds" a new competition with extreme suspicion. I agree with wokkies, it needs to be said every time! If they are not self promoting, they'll get over it. If they are; good riddance!

Don't go hiding away, you're much too good for that and you are definitely NOT nasty.

Don't worry about my feelings though. The only reason I managed to just about hold in the tears was because dawnylou went through the same thing and I received a couple of PM's of support.

Don't get me wrong, I do understand the suspicion, and I don't hold it personally against toniq, but I can assure you, I am most definitely real. As I say, Google my name you'll find me on a number of websites as an upstanding member. Besides, if I worked for Nvidia (which I would love to do, seeing as I just recently lost my job), wouldn't I pick another name that wouldn't garner so much suspicion anyway?

Nobody is having a "pop" at you personally, it's just irksome to see "newbies" who have "found", "a mate told me about this", etc competitions. If you are genuine, then this will shine through in the future as you continue to be a part of this lovely community.

nvidia are such a huge company that giving a handful of games away, would be very odd to send someone in to advertise it or whatever. personally i never saw it as anything like that anyhow.
