21 mines FYP, but if you want to move into 23 then i can borrow sugar from you over the garden fence

and maybe you could teach me how to get my kids to pay rent, saying that at that price I could have 2 houses.

Hamstercheeks - I'll phone my mortgage broker on Monday, if there is a better deal to be had he'll know about it but I am bankrupt you know and I think there just might be a problem in this climate.

Chelseabun - I agree if Mr B is helping out the banks they are supposed to be passing it on. I just don't see where any bank would make money out of my situation. If I can't pay and they repossess if there is a shortfall it would fall to OH, he would have no option but BR so the bank would lose out altogether. However is they kept the interest rate the way it is they would continue to receive our monthly mortgage payment and we'd all be happy.

Tiger - if the house went now by selling it yes the 5YP would come immediately however if the house went by repo then I really don't know. I suppose the family member would pay for everything but I'd hate to go without even our fares.

Would it be helpful to phone your OR and ask for their advice? I'm sure in the current mortgage climate and with house valuations dropping like a stone, they must have other people in similar situations.

I really hope you are able to sort something out.

Bl88dy hellfire. Thats more than OH earns in a month too! My rent is less than your increase.

But I hope something works out AOK for you.
  • Bloody hell one month would cover our for a year.
As for stealing scrap merchants, ours have taken to nicking drain covers, they stole one right outside the playpark.

  • This is ghastly. No solution, except sorry, my OR is not at all helpful on advice.

All the best. How on earth can a BR cope with £500 increase in expenses.
