Make sure the fast-track isn't being abused - how long have you been self employed and do you have proof of income?

I presume it isn't being abused, we have been completely honest with our broker and whilst we don't have proof of income (I do both sets of our accounts) I am happy to show the details to the bank/ broker , and have shown the spreadsheets to the broker. I have been self employed for 6 years and my partner for 2 years... Does all of this sound OK??[/quote]

Yep that sounds fine - only asked as there's sadly quite a few brokers who will put a case through on fast track when the actual income isn't sufficient or where income proof isn't available.

    True.
But I guess it would not go to well with the customer, if they have shelled out for a survey fee, only to be told that the lender now needs proof of income after all

You're right - just re-read the post above - realised they don't have proof of income - in which case, bad idea.
