FTSE 100 has taken a nose dive today!

I'm far (very far) from an expert at this, but my gut says things will go lower. Panic has taken control now.

edit - biggest loser BP -38.89% banks up, oil down.

Both the BBC and Bloomberg have the FTSE at -8.85%.

The DOW is making Nemisis at Alton Towers look like a gentle bike ride. It just shot up into positive and then fell straight back down.

Gen. Motors up by 6% currently. Yet the outlook for them is particularly bad I thought.

If I were a billionaire say, and I don't trust the banks anymore, or anything that has a "CD" in the name, can't buy property because any fule kno it's going nowhere - maybe buying names is the thing to do. It's what Warren Buffet does I believe. In fact maybe it's him jacking some of these prices up.

I think I'll stick with drip feeding my miserly amount, and forgetting about it. If I buy a lump sum they'll go down and I'll be miserable - if I don't buy and they go up I'll be miserable BUT at least it didn't cost me anything.
