Its a shame because the trackers vs managed debate is an interesting one as there are pros and cons of both. Knowing these and then making an informed choice is more important.

One thing that is noticeable recently is the increased number of posters in the investment section complaining about losses on their L&G trackers. Most of whom seem to be investing above their risk profile. No downside protection on their investments which fixed interest funds or equity income funds or others could have given.

It appears that the board have removed most of her spam posts now.

Dear me, she's talking about trying to time the markets now too... Not exactly great advice for novice investors!

Shes not taking income in to account either.

Talk about the blind trying to lead....

You jest sir, most of the equity income funds were up to their necks in Bank stocks for the dividend yields (when probably they were aware of the risks) There were of course notable exceptions.

I am of course referring to a certain fund which for no unsurprising reason has been a top seller for many years and reinforced that confidence in recent times.

I'm confused, is Chloerenshaw replying because I am not seeing any replies on this thread so it just looks as though Britney is talking to herself?

Hence my comments about being a wannabe spam bot. The only reason I have my doubts that this is a bot is the inability to spell the OP's name correctly in one of the removed posts.

However, I'm going to go through and report the latest posts because they're still spamming rather than addressing any point.

Have a look at Scottish Widows FTSE 100 tracker. It charges low fees.

And is almost the worst performing fund over the last 10 years. Your advice sucks as much as your posting.
