Its a shame because the trackers vs managed debate is an interesting one as there are pros and cons of both. Knowing these and then making an informed choice is more important.
One thing that is noticeable recently is the increased number of posters in the investment section complaining about losses on their L&G trackers. Most of whom seem to be investing above their risk profile. No downside protection on their investments which fixed interest funds or equity income funds or others could have given.
It appears that the board have removed most of her spam posts now.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Have a look at Scottish Widows FTSE 100 tracker.It charges low fees.
And is almost the worst performing fund over the last 10 years. Your advice sucks as much as your posting.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
