My OH got made redundant at the end of July and returned to his previous job, he never got his P45 from the company as they went bust but he got a letter saying the liquidators would forward it but nothing has arrived.
His old company which he returned too put him on the same tax code he was on before when he left last November so he is getting taxed ok but he never got the £60 rebate when everyone else at his work did and i am guessing this is because of the job switch/lack of P45 and he obviously wants this money plus the £10 a month until April.
Is it too late to fill in a P46 as hes been back nearly 3 months now and gets weekly pay? How do we go about getting the £120 he is entitled too?

What tax code have they put him on? 603L Week 1?0

You should get in touch with the tax office and get his records up to date. He may not have a P45 but does he have his last payslip with the co? Could be useful to get his tax records sorted.
If the company are now taxing him on a code from Nov 07 then chances are it's wrong.0

I have just checked his pay slips and he was on 543L W1 when he returned.
He is now on 603L W1.
I need to hunt out his payslips from the previous company. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0

In that case he is getting the rebate, however on a week 1 code he will get £2.30 per week or £10 per month from September. But he isn't able to get the full increase backdated to April until he is back on a cumulative code or until after the end of the tax year when HMRC review his total liability.0

All his work mates got the £60 on one week though? Is that because they wouldn't be on a W1 code? I looked at last years pay slips and that W1 wasn't there when he last worked there? His tax will not be sorted out untill the tax office issue a cumulative code for him. If he has not handed in a P45 nor completed a P46 the tax office will not know he is working there. It is these forms that notify the tax office that you have started somewhere. I would certainly get in touch with the tax office and also ask the employer for a P46 to complete. In fact the employer should never have used a week one code under these circumstances, with no P45 or P46 completed they should have used code BR and then sent in an unsigned P46.0

Its a job he worked at before as i mentioned so guess thats why they didn't use BR.
I will print him off a P46 and get him to take it in Monday. Once its all sorted will he still have to wait until April for the rebate? Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0

When the tax office issue a correct cumulative code with previous pay and tax details to his employer his tax will be corrected.0
