I know I should make one but - I really want to buy one in time for next Sunday.
I'm having Christmas dinner at home next Sunday with some family as I am working all over the Christmas period.
I'm not that partial to it myself but need one that has a good brandy flavour if poss.

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.0 -
I'll let you know if I find one without almonds.0

Which? magazine taste tested Christmas puddings in Dec 2003. The top scoring pudding was Tesco Finest Vintage Christmas Pudding, 8/10 (£7.99, 907g), 2nd equal was Co-op Premium Christmas Pudding with cider, brandy, sherry and rum, 7/10 (£4.29, 454g. Don't know if results still hold 2 years on!People are more important than things0

Well as I need mine in time for Sunday - we decided to go for the Asda Extra Special Matured version. (It does contain almonds!)
It also has 4 different types of alcohol including rum, cognac, brandy (which I thought was the same thing!) and one other booze ingredient, which I've forgotten which it is at the moment.0 -
I have found that the Oxfam Shop have good Xmas pud and cake. Downside is they sell out quick.0
