Hi Jesters Tear - I would maybe speak to someone like Trading Standards or the Citizens Advice Bureau for advice on who you can speak to in order to get it sorted.

I hope things work out ok for you - these idiots really should be stopped!!The Rock Chick, she say 'courtesy costs nowt' - spread the word!

Ignore it Jesters, do not waste another minute worrying about it. They have not got a leg to stand on and will soon tire of harassing you.
As someone on the other thread said, *IF* (and that is a huge if seeing as he was alrady deceased at the proposed time of contract) your relative did make a contract with them, then their claim lies with the estate and is simply not financially worth pursuing (unless it is for thousands). They are praying on people who will succumb and send off the money to avoid the nasty letters. If they contact you by telephone or make any further threats, tell them to stop harassing you and that you will take legal action against them if they do not stop.Total for 2009: L'Oreal Lip Duo, Diary, Motability Guide
Thanks to everyone who post comps - you are all :cool2:0 -
Thanks :-)
I went to the CAB this morning, and they've said much the same, so we'll reply one last tine (like they suggested) and then leave it - at the end of the day, we've offered to pay if they can produce the supposed bounced cheque, which they haven't done, and until they do, we're not playing...0
