Has any of you sent your kids there to the out door adventure centre with their schools? Eldest wants to go next year with the school and I just wondered if anyone wants to share their experience of it . thanks.

Mine have been on a few outdoor trips with the school and they have enjoyed them and benefitted from being a bit independant. If they are in primary they are very well supervised and not like the trips you hear of to Paris etc. Castle Toward was there destination and the staff here seem to be good at what they do. Teachers are not used as instructors here.

I went to Ardeonaig myself as a child (on a school trip). That was a long time ago now, though - probably about 15 years

It was good, as I recall. Good facilities, helpful staff and fun activities etc.

Ardeonaig is one of my favourite places, Loch Tay is just beautiful. I've been to the outdoor centre nearly 20 times as a leader on a youth project and can't commend it high enough, the staff are fantastic and the facilities excellent and clean. The activities are brilliant. Your eldest will have a ball.

i think thats the one the local school goes to (do you have the spelling right?!:p ) and if so i havent heard any bad reviews about it. they have been going for quite a few years now
