I don't think there are too many of us blokes who haven't had a wife/gf that spent ridiculous amounts on endless pairs of shoes/handbags/both or anything else they "just had to have" despite knowing they couldn't afford it.
I'd even go so far as to bet that applies to some of the women on this thread who rolled their eyes & thought "men eh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
