I've done the whole ins/outs budget planner and basically have cut back on everyhting and still dont have enough money to go round.....so i get my grocery shopping on my credit card and it rarely gets paid off and now i'm up to my limit on the card (£2000) and have nothing else....!!!! We cant get any benefits becasue apparently we earn too much....but thats all eaten up before we have even done any food shopping . We have 2 kids. I have no idea now how to get out of this mess??? Anyone. My hubbie works 6 days a week ...i am a stay at home mum with 2 year old. I dont work as we would be paying all my wages in child care.

sorry to say this but there's your budget planner and there's putting your SOA on here for the wise folks to look at...there's a world of difference.

If you have 2 kids and can't claim anything because you're earning too much then there has to be a change or 2 that can be made that can make a difference. Let the folks on here help.

    statement of affairs.

it's a bit like your budget planner but a no holds barred show of your incomings outgoings, debts and assets - if there's something that can be saved, folks will say so - if you're paying too much the wise eyes will see it and you'l get some great advice.

I'll go look for the link now.

    Hiya,

    Just some other quick advice:

    1) Is there anything you can do from home to earn money? I don't pretend to know anything about the strains of childcare (am avoiding that for as long as possible!) but I imagine there would be something you could do? I

    2) As well as posting your SOA on here, it might be worth contacting a debt support agency. I found the factsheets on the National Debtline website essential to supporting me out of my debt. (make sure you go for one that is free/not for profit as some of them just want to make money out of you!)

    Good luck!
