I sent request to moorcroft for the cca, today i got a letter from them saying they are trying to obtain a copy of the cca, and the account as been put on hold and they will not seek to enforce the debt till the agreement is obtained.
Also in the letter it says it may be of assistance to all parties if we take this opportunity to ensure that any potential areas are addressed prior to court action or further investigation, please could you give an indication of the information you will be providing, and they ask me to send this information by return post, What do i send?
And also i am due to make payment through my dmp next week do i tell my dmc not to pay moorcroft as the account is in dispute

I *think* (I don't know, but you're slipping down the board, and I didn't want you to be over-looked) but the ball is in their court, if they haven't got the cca they can go no further, so asking you for more information is a waste of time

And I'm not sure how you'd stand if you stopped payments so I'll leave that to wiser bods.

You have sent the CCA request now and they have acknowledged receipt of this so just sit tight do not respond to them or send them anything at all until you receive the relvevant documentation within the timescales they are required to send it to you by ie 12 days then 30 day period.
With regard to cancelling all payments on the account do not pay them another penny on this account the account is now in dispute and they cannot enforce any payments until the matter is resolved.0
