Barclays Pack of lies

Thank you for your e-mail requesting a credit limit increase.

It is always our aim at Barclaycard to provide the highest level of
customer satisfaction.
We are always concerned to learn that any customer is unhappy with the
service we provide.

I regret to inform you that on this occasion we are unable to
increase your credit limit. I was asking for it to be put back where it was last month

This is because you have exceeded your current limit on a
number of occasions over the past twelve months.Yes but I was well within the limit I had at the time

This is an important factor that is taken into account when
considering credit limit increases. If you ensure that we
receive at least your minimum payments on time every month
and keep your balance below your current limit at all times, we
will gladly review another request for a credit limit increase in
three months time. Have done this for over 10 years, didn't even go over limit when you decreased the limit and have been paying much more than the min payment each month.

We have decided to reduce your credit limit. This decision was made
based on the information available to us about how you have managed
your account in the past. This includes your repayment history,
spending
patterns and information received from credit reference agencies. So you cut it because I wasn't spending enough? or because the account was run very well and making you less money.

We have made this change because we believe it is important that we
lend responsibly.

We have sent you a letter on 23rd September 2008 advising you that your
limit would
be decreased and the reason for this change. No you sent a pack of lies about how there was something bad on my credit file, that I must check out. Thanks for that it cost £6.99 to find out there was nothing wrong and you won't refund the money your lies cost.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you.I'd rather just have the truth

I must also advise you that if we do not hear from you within eight
weeks of the date of this
e-mail, we will assume that your complaint is resolved.

Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to
contact me.

Kindest regards
