Does anyone know the cheapest place to get one of these?
All around £700 but I have £600 at a real push.
Would prefer to buy through a shop/online place, not 2nd hand iyswim.
Its going to be a surprise present for DP.
Or any discount codes anyone know of for PC world or Apple?
Would love some help
Thanks

How about a refurbished one? https://www.cancomuk.com currently have one for £622
Or the Refurb section of the Apple website which is open every day at the moment (normally only Wednesdays). They didn't have any iBooks at the moment but certainly worth a look there over the next few days.(Discounts are normally a minimumof 20%)
If it's really a new one you are after, is there anyone in the family who could buy it through the educational discount? That would bring it down to £656.0 -
Apple Refurb store is open every day until 4 Jan 06. Full 12 month warranty machines with big discounts.
Also go through quidco.com and get 3% cash back!
https://www.apple.com/ukstore then click on refurbs about two thirds of the way down right hand side. Get in early each day as it opens at 10.00 am and stuff can go quickly. Delivery is normally within a couple of days.

PS there are also codes for £23 off available if you look around.0 -
If you have an "Egg Money" card you can also get 10% cashback at the online apple store at the moment, better than 3% going through quidco - see here.Wot, no sig?0

Don't order over the internet or in store - there are lots of reports of Apple phone sales giving fairly generous discounts if you persist. Otherwise pay with an Egg money card, or get someone who qualifies fro the educational discount to buy it for you?
eBay is a good source of NEW iBooks - I passed on a 14" for £670 yesterday (RRP £899). Caveat emptor though.0 -
If you buy one from a John Lewis store you'll get a 2 year warranty.

FurtherNote about Refurbished computers: We will always supply the original operating system as supplied with the computer when it was first produced. However we cannot guarantee that any other software, i.e. applications, games or utilities, will come with it.
So you may miss out on all the software originally bundled with the item.0 -
