www.zaafs.com zaafs.com zaafs dont buy!!

Hi there people,

Ive just signed up to this forum for the purpose of warning all online shoppers/bargain hunters about www.zaafs.com.

Please dont shop here, this is a fraudulant website that has only popped up over the last few days or so. This site advertises all the latest electronics, computers, gadgets and gizmo's at cheaper prices than anywhere else on the web. It will only let you pay by either:

PAYPAL or GOOGLE CHECK OUT!!

The reason for this is so that you purchase the item, they dont deliver and you are not covered by anyone on your purchase that doesnt arrive!!

How do I know this??

I for one have just been scammed by these people on there last site which went down 2 weeks ago, this was www.techhouseuk.com

There are possibly hundreds of people that have fallen victim to this fraudulant website who are all at this very minute filing disputes/claims with PAYPAL and getting nowhere as all funds have long gone from the websites PAYPAL account!!
Credit card issuers wont want to know as your not buying directly from the site, your dealing through PAYPAL.

By posting this message here I hope to raise awareness about this site so that people ready to part with their hard earned cash find these articles when doing google, yahoo searchs etc and will hopefully stay the hell away from them!! Trust me I wish I had.

Other name variations are zaafs.com or just zaafs.

Thanks for learning about this site, pls spread the word!!

Whilst there are occasions why people do this to prevent spam sometimes its because there are difficult to trace

Its worth doing research before buying from a company you haven't heard from, posts like this help and check the whois

    http://whois.domaintools.com

Also pay by credit card as you have covered if its over £100

Another thing is if the prices seems very low that should raise suspicions

Hope you get your money back
  • Thanks for the links moneysaver they may well come in handy.
And also for the tips, although its a little late for that lol.
I am doing all I can at the moment to recover my money but I dare say it wont be an easy ride, at least if others are aware they wont be making the
    same mistake! Tnx again.
  • I have had no experience with this company, but as a laptop I was interested in was by far the cheapest on the web I decided to check them out. They are trading as pointsin.com, a trading name of Allied Direct UK Ltd. I went to Companies House web site and found that this company used to be known as Zaafs.com, which is how I ended up here.

Again, I don't have any experience of these people, I just thought I'd add this extra info
