Treat your new iPod to some decent and stylish protection with a silicone skin - iPods are very prone to
scratches and marks. The ones sold on this site are excellent quality, I own several now. Good service, too.

I've already got a snow exo3x 4g 40GB. I've just bought a few more different colours of this. Covered
scroll wheel, iTrip compatible, 1.2mm thick. I wouldn't recommend the exo3 as I reckon it's too thin (0.7mm).

They ship from Hong Kong and delivery takes around 7- 10 days. They also take Paypal which is handy. The site is a little tricky to navigate but you'll get used to it. You'll get best results by using Internet Explorer.

If you click on "macool" (in orange at the top) you can access the forums which has more info on the skins, Reviews, etc.

Additional note, these skins don't provide screen protection. You can purchase screen covers called "iShades". I have one of these for my 40GB 4g iPod - it works quite well, but it makes the screen
a bit harder to read. Provides excellent protection though.

They are only $3, so you might like to try one anyway. I recommend going for the crystal (non-coloured) one. You can also get an iShade FREE (see offers 3 and 4 above).

I prefer to use a PDA screen protector on mine. I just cut it to make it fit the iPods screen (make it slightly bigger than the screen), and then the silicone case protects the rest of the iPod. I got mine from a local stationers.

Hi,

Yes they do iPod Mini skins too. To get to them, click Products on the top, then click one of the arrows under "Name". This will sort the products by name and you will see the 9 iPod mini cases grouped together. Click on each of them to see the full colour selection, and if you click the magnifying glass on the left, you will get a picture.

TPU see-through plasic basic case ("zip")
I wouldn't go for these as they are not silicone "skins", they are see-through plastic which can be zipped up. They are in different thicknesses to accomodate for skinned ipods.
zipexomini - to use with an already skinned ipod with exo/exo2 (2.0mm)
zipexo3mini - to use with an already skinned ipod with exo3 (0.7mm)
zipodmini - to use with an unskinned ipod

exo = open wheel, 2.0mm
exo2 = closed wheel, 2.0mm
exo3 = closed wheel, 0.7mm
flp = bottom flips out for compatibility with dock
fb = flat back, which means you cannot connect certain accessories to the back

It is rather confusing, but it's great as there are so many options As I say, click on the magnifying glass to get a taster for the different types.

I'd go for a silicone closed wheel one (the wheel still works perfectly with it covered), with an exo2 thickness (2.0mm), and a flat back as I don't need the belt clips/chains. If you use the dock you might want a "flp" version to save you removing the case every time you dock. So you could go for:

I can't remember if they mark down the value of packages, but my last order wasn't charged - it was only valued at about £11 anyway.

Even if they mark the correct value, you'd have to spend £18 before getting taxed, and at £3-4 per case, that's not going to happen! If you order a load, just do separate orders.
