Statement of Affairs and Personal Balance Sheet
I have at last posted ny SOA. With regards to the CC's, i have applied for o% balance transfer and/or low interest balance transfer and I have been turned down, guess I have too much. My loans are unsecured and are fixed, so nothing to do but pay them, one is 4 years and the other has 9 years to run.
I live on my own as my son has moved out to study in University.
To reduce my debt further I sold my car and now use public transport or walk. I don't have anything else to sell that would make a dent in my debts apart from some items now and again on e bay and Amazon.
I hope i have posted this correctly and that it is in the corrrect place, please someone tell me if it is in the wrong place.
According to the snowball calculator, if I continue as I am i will have paid my cards off by 2012.
Please have a good look at my SOA and let rip! My only entertainemnt is sky, sad but true.

Hi
Can you get rid of the clothing and satellite for now? You can get Freeview through your satellite box. Rubbish on the box anyway!
Also, can you look into getting a water meter? I had one fitted for free and now save over £20.00 per month.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
Mortgage free since 2014

Hi
Thanks for replying, I am on a water meter and I average 150 every 6 months, that's as low as I have managed so far, yes, you are right, I should get rid of sky.
Cheers

These are within range but have you checked you are with the best company? Have you compared the meter readings with the last bills?
Have you got low energy bulbs?

Start looking around for a package - Virgin do cable packages / Sky also do a package. Be ready to move as soon as you can

This seems quite pricey. is it tied to the mortgage? try the comparison sites like moneysupermarket.com & but through a cashback site like quidco

Hope those few pointers help. A Lodger would be a good way to get some more cash in - would you consider that?SOA = Statement of Affairs (to find a SOA Calculator, google 'make sense of cards' & click on calculators tab > Statement of Affairs)0 -
Yes, the CT includes discount, mortgage insurance is level term and the cheapest I could get for my age and the fact that I have a few health problems which bummped the premium up.0
