CS Pension To A SIPP?

I've looked on this forum and on the Civil Service Pension site (the site has loads of blank pages at the moment) and I cannot find the answer to my query.

Is it possible to transfer a Civil Service Pension (I was on the Premium Scheme) to a SIPP?

I realise many people would advice against it, but I am just exploring possibilities.

All the best.

Difficult: you would need an IFA to "approve" it and few would want the liability as it's almost certainly a bad move.
    Trying to keep it simple...;)

Many thanks for the reply. I was never seriously considering it, just like the idea of being in control.

I suppose it is now my responsibility to keep in contact with the CS Pension Service for the next 30 odd years?

I wonder how many pensions go unclaimed etc?
