After months of worry about debt the **** has finally hit the fan today!
With a salary of £2,070 a month and its only the 8th we have no money in the account mainly due to an overdraft and the ridiculous charges the HSBC are piling on every month
We now face 3 weeks with no money at all - we cant borrow anymore, my husband has a company car and fuel provided so he can get to work but Im a part time student and Im desperately looking for a job with no success and I cant afford to travel to college or to interviews
The only thing I can think of is selling stuff to somewhere like Cashconvertors
We are in a right mess and dont know where to turn - please help!

Firstly open a new bank account and move away from HSBC - co-op are sympathetic and a good bank to use.
Look at the boost your income board, ebay, boot sales (sun is back out)
Good luck!0 -
Hi
Call CCCS, CAB or National Debtline. They are free and impartial and will advise you of your best course of action.
Believe me, i know what it's like to have too much month at the end of the money. Been there, got the T Shirt.
Post up your SOA and the good peeps on here will find ways to help you find some money.
As other poster has said, try selling on Ebay, car boots and Amazon. I've sold some books on Amazon, not made a massive amount, but every little helps.
Good luck and do keep posting.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

Someone recently told me that they knew of a couple like yourselves. They were advise to separate and the remaining partner can then claim benefits. Pretty drastic I know, but if you'r in this hellish mess it may be wroth a shot. I imagine now that the markets have tumbled many more will be in the same boat. Banks - they throw an umberella at you when the sun sines and take it away when it rains!! Good luck.0

So taxpayers foot the bill for the mess they've landed themselves in. Sorry but think that's just one big scam.ladylove60 wrote: »Someone recently told me that they knew of a couple like yourselves.
