No. There are websites that give performance data and fund data but just because a fund is top in its sector or top overall doesnt mean its the best fund to be in. That isnt how investing works.

Recommendations are a regulated activity under FSA guidelines. Some sites will give opinions or fund ratings but many ratings are not worth a thing as they quickly become obsolete (e.g. rating stays on fund despite fund manager that gave those figures leaving 2 years earlier).

Picking funds because its top of a pile in that period or because it has three crowns or 5 stars is an awful way to invest.

Select IMA for unit trusts and ABI for insurance company funds. Ratings go back 10 years. Also has a separate rating service on fund managers, so you can cross check they are atill in charge of the same fund.
