So you invested in a too good to be true foreign bank high interest rate Icesave account and they went belly up........so the uk government will pay you all the money you had saved.....so you dont lose a penny................BUT.....if you saved with a uk bank/financial organisation known as Equitable Life, fully watched over by the FSA so that you would have some more money to supplement your uk pension and not be a burden on the state finances in your retirement, you have been hung out to dry!!!............i am 15 grand short on my pension pot.......because the FSA lost the plot...........who is going to re-imburse me?..........
