  • hi!
if you look at my diary post "enough is enough" you will see that the first statement of affairs is what we were orginally paying out but now having contacted cccs and going onto a dmp the new statement of affairs just added in today is what we were paying and the remainder going to creditors.
  • ps you need to tell them about the one you havent mentioned because they will be getting hte normal payment and the other creditors reduced payment...so if they find out you are still paying something out at the normal payment they wont be happy bunnies. also its possible that its enough to get you dropped from the plan.

i orginally forgot to put two of our loans down and it wasnt till the paperwork came thrugh that hubby told me so i just made an apology and told them about the other two...no concerns with it.
  • Hi there, sorry to hear you are feeling so unhappy. I know how you are feeling but as many will tell you on here there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Was the info the NDL sent you to do a self help DMP? Ive had the info and yes it can seem confusing. I decided to ring CCCS. They will help you set up a DMP if you have enough money available each month. And ive not had much experience with them yet but from what I have read on here they will help you every step of the way.
They do like to include all your debts. It would be best for you as well so they can then make a correct figure of how much you could afford. I would tell them everything and your OH as well. It would be a weight off your mind im sure not having to hide things from them.
You do get an allowence for food clothes etc but again I cant help on the amounts yet but someone else maybe able to.
I hope some of this helps and they will be others along soon to help you. Please try not to worry. I know its hard cos Im a little worrier myself. If you want to post a SOA as well others on here maybe able to help you cut costs maybe somewhere.

    good luck x

    Hi
I'm on a dmp with CCCS and they do allow you money for Christmas and birthdays. However, I've managed to live on groceries less than they suggested so the extra money I squirrel away (if that makes sense!). You get used to it after a while and do learn to budget and live within your means. You need to include all your unsecured debts.

Please do not worry - we've all been where you are right now so we do know how it feels.

CCCS have an online debt remedy tool that you could do - they would advise you of the amounts that are allowed for you living costs etc.

    Good luck and keep posting.
