  • Is this a wind up? The cheapest humidifiers that hang over radiators and have water in them are normally called wet towells!

A more efficient humidifier is the Bionaire brand. I purchased mine 2 yrs ago for £29.99, they are selling them at the moment for just £7.99 in Home Bargains.

I'm going to buy another one as a spare for that price, they are great for colds especially for the kids.

Yes of a sort, a humidifier adds water to the environment and a de humidifier obviously removes it :D

As already mentioned here a wet towel over a red will humidify a room very nicely!
  • Nope it's not a wind up. I don't fancy wet towels all over the place, sorry.

I'll try home bargins tho', didn't have any the other day, but ya never know. Do you need one for every room??

It depends really why you are using it.

I think 2 will be enough for me, 1 upstairs and 1 down to save carrying the thing up and down.

Let me know how you do in Home Bargains, may be able to help get you one if you have no joy.

  • Unfortunatly there was none in my town's home bargins. No ceramic ones with pretty patterns on either.
