IVA change?

After speaking with CCCs I was advised that for an IVA to be approved they will only accept 40% not 25% as previously thought. The companies that do the voting are preferring the bankrupcy option. How on earth does that make good financial sense? Its a struggle to try and figure out how to budget to get 25% 40% is unrealistic surely? Anyone else aware of this?

Anyone any experience of these percentages? I'm trying to get a job to make the 25% up - don't stand a chance if it is 40% feel like giving up now with it all.0

A lot of firms are looking at 45% plus now for IVA's unfortunatly. We are hearing this time and again on the boards.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Hey all,
I have been shopping around for either an IVA or Debt management program and so far DFH seem to be offering me the best and most affordable deal. I have heard a lot of conflicting information after speaking to a lot of different company's, does anyone know if you can set up an IVA as a couple as I am off sick and on benefits and my partner is working.
Thanks
