Thanks for the link sarah, its good to see so many savers backing the site as well. Its a shme such a small number of people have caused so many problems over the last few days. it looks like it really stopped savers from getting support they really needed. Im so glad to see they wont be loosing their savings.

without this site and the advice I have taken I truly would not be here. I was seriously contemplateing suicide when I first posted and I know I'm not the only one. Jon Snow is an interviewer and is supposed to put people on the spot but Martin didn't let himself be bullied and I thought he came out of it rather well.

    yup...I'd agree with that.

I'd go as far as to say that the site has changed and saved lives in one way or another.

I wonder how many of us were feeling that way. I felt so much shame when i first came here. i really thought i was the only person in the world to put myself in this position. I still havent told my family and friends, only my HO knows, and all the people here of course. When i first saw martin on this morning itwas such a feeling of relief when i looked at the website. I spent about 3 weeks reading others diaries before i even dared to start opening statements! I dont know how bad things would have got for my if i hadnt come here, im a little scared to think about it to be honest.

I too support Martin and this site. Mainly because he changed how I think about money. So I virtually never  just buy a product. I check out the priceing, whether I can get it cheaper online or in store, and how much cashback etc. So Martin saves me money EVERY DAY. Ok may only be a couple of £ here and there, but over the year it all adds up.

So THANK YOU MARTIN - MARTIN FOR A KNIGHTHOOD

Just been watching the news on sky, they are trying to decide whos fault the credit crisis is. why is it nobody can just come out and say that the government should have stepped in years ago. My brother quit a job in a bank as they were forcing him to sell loans/credit that he knew perfectly well people couldnt afford. He was also saying how the statement dates were set to earn the most possible from bank charges, it was common knowledge to all the staff that it was done deliberatly to get people into a cycle of being charged every month. The banks might have been greedy but that will never end if the law continues to allow them to do it!
