Anyone near Warrington Birchwood - QVC were selling George Foreman 3 tier steamers last week for £9.99; we got one & it's fine. They had quite a few.
Sorry I don't know if QVC have outlets anywhere else.0 -
I'm sure I saw these Tefal steamers cheaper in Tesco last night, might be worth ringing them to find out, if you're interested.Make it happen (old signature)

Argos are advertising their steamers at up to 60% off. Its worth using one of the shop bots, there are loads of offers around. I checked the reviews on Amazon when I bought mine.0

Why buy as steamer (trendy fashion item!) pressure cookers work four times faster and seal in more vitamins.I can have a full dinner in 10 mins on lowest gas setting and no room full of steam.Pan is also huge for making stocks soups etc and only one pan to clean. Are U getting enough Vitamin D in your life!?0

Ummm because I can leave the steamer and go off and do something else while it cooks. Which is something I can't do with a pressure cooker.
Also using fresh veg a lot of it can be cooked in about 10 mins anyway.
And for me personally I am scared of pressure cookers. And to me it just does not taste the same when I have food from a pressure cooker.
So it each to what ever best suits there situation. And not everyone has gas hobs either.
