I recieved this "limited time free money back" offer from The Train Line once i'd booked tickets with them. I may be booking tickets again quite regularly and so i'm wondering if this is legit and if it's worth doing.
Thanks!

Hmm, could be legit.
If you remove the S from the HTTPS, and all the characters after .com it takes you to a site called http://www.webloyalty.com/. I think it is some form of incentive company, run from the US.
So could be OK, but perhaps be careful enter certain data?
there are phone numbers, but they are in the US (so ring from work!!)0 -
The S shows a secure site:)Darren0

The https just means that data going between your browser and the web server hosting the site is secure - it does not mean that site itself is necessarily safe to use. Following the link takes me to a site full of US deals - nothing for the train line.
Maybe you should contact The Train Line to see what they say.0 -
I think a few firms are doing this kind of thing - e.g. Misco encourage you to sign up to an affiliate site that give you a tenner off your next order with themThe thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

If you meant my comment, it's not =p.
Anyway, cheers guys, the only thing that makes me weary is that it asks for bank details. It has little links from McAfee etc saying that the site is "legit" (i guess they thought a lot of people think it's just a scam)...i'll have a think about it.0
