I wanna sell...

...my large tropical fish tank + fish. Where can I advertise it in the North East of England ( cheaply or for free). I've had an ad in Adtrader for a couple of weeks, but would like to advertise elsewhere too.

Thanks

Hi, we bought a trailer tent from https://www.preloved.co.uk. Its free to advertise so worth a shot.
I have taken a look on https://www.thisisthenortheast.co.uk (northern echo) but cant see how much it is to advertise so it might be worth a phone call to check the cost.
If I hadnt bought our 2nd one just a few weeks ago I might have been interested myself as we got our first one about 12 months ago and decided to get a second one.

Thanks Eagle_1. I'll try https://www.preloved.co.uk and see what happens. I'm going to have a hard job selling it anyway as I've got fish in it (not many!) and I'm hoping the fish will go too. Also it's a rather large tank so...

    Thanks again
And it is sunny in the North East today isn't it?

  • If you can't find homes for the fish.... then a local school would probably take them from you...

We had invincible goldfish that never died...and we donated them to a friend who is a school teacher... apparently her class loved them and it helped a lot of the hyperactive children as the fish apparently have a calming effect!!!!

Failing that I'm sure the RSPCA could help you out :) Or they could be free to a good home in the local paper? Just don't give them the toilet treatment to free them... :S

Advertise the fish with the tank, having some fish is sometimes a bonus (well it was to ourselves as 1st time aquarium fish keepers we didnt know what kind of fish to get anyway so were happy with the few that came with the tank)

Its been quite mild the last couple of days, although I was informed today that snow is on the way
