What little OS thing have YOU done today?

Apologies if this thread isn't a good idea - I'm sure a mod will take it down if it's not though.

It's a spin on a thread we have running over on Mortgage Free wannabe - the idea being that it's for the little things that don't necessarily need a thread of their own, or fit in anywhere else, but that you really want to SHOUT about! Maybe you've just made your first loaf of home baked bread, or discovered a particularly tasty salad dressing or pasta dish? Perhaps you've saved yourself a penny or two using OS methods, or recycled something in a new and inventive way? Or maybe it's just as simple as a comment from your Gran, your Auntie or even your Mum that makes you think "Oh now the OS'ers would just love that!". It's in no way any sort of replacement for the daily "hello and how are you" thread - but I know there are others who, like me, don't really feel that the sort of thing mentioned above fits in on those threads.

So - I'll get it started then.....Sunday's Free Range chicken has just made a multitude of meals - Sunday lunch for me, OH and my Mum, four portions of curry for the freezer, risotto tonight, four portions of stock also in the freezer, and two days sandwiches for lunch for me! Rubber chicken indeed!

    Hi EssexHebridean,

The daily thread is the place on the Old Style board to chat about the Old Style things we are getting up to and was originally created for that purpose, so there isn't really a need for a second thread.

I'll close this thread now and anyone who wants to chat about the Old Style things they are doing, please feel free to join in the daily where you will be made very welcome. :)

    Thanks,

    Pink
