    Hi there
It does not matter if cancelled or not and even if the account is settled, either way.

You can still try to reclaim and if you feel you were mis sold, then give it a go, write to them and explain why you believe you were mis sold as fully as you can and add anything you can think of to support your case.

Who was this with hun ?
They have 8 weeks to respond to you and if still not successful do not worry there are further steps that can be taken, so keep us posted hun, cheers.

(There is a template on this site to help you through this, if you have not already come across it and you require this give us a yell we will post the link to you).;)

    Good luck

Same as mine then, mine is actually in with the FOS right now and is currently being dealt with by the adjudicator, Lloyds will not be easy hun they will more than likely try to fob you off with one of their standard fob off letters that most of us have here from them, so do not be put off, you will will have the usual response that the information was in the policy documents and so on.

Check here on this link there is some useful info and a template on that link to on how to reclaim.

If you want more info hun, please get back to me, I will help all I can, my hubby's 2 complaints about Credit card pp (lloyds) are also in with the FOS right now too as he was not eligible due to pre med history condition.

I am sure the FOS are well used to dealing with these by now but the normal procedures have to take place until you receive the letter with "final decision" where Lloyds should also mention about you being able to take it to the FOS.
If not successful the first time round, you do normally get the chance to write back to them with further information to help them reconsider, but that letter you must receive "final decision" in order for it to go to the FOS.

With a bit of luck yours will be successful, fingers crossed for you and get back to us as soon as you hear that will be cool thanks.;)
