Anyone know what's up with the Thanks button

Sorry, to have posted here its just that I didn't know where to put it, I am finding tonight more than usual that the thanks button isn't working, any one else finding this problem, as I always make sure I thank people for their hard work

My thanks button's working with no problems. I've noticed from past posts that occasionally some people do have a problem with it, so you may be ok again tomorrow.

The site is a bit slow today - not sure if it's a Martin on telly day (he was on something earlier) - or newsletter day or something

I'm having a lot of problems too - I've started thanking before I click on the comp link in the hopes that the thanking will be done by the time I've done the comp. As catz said it's probably because the site's running slow. I'm thinking it's another thing we can blame Icesave for - I know Martin's been on the telly quite a bit today - Jon Snow made a right hash of the site name and Martin had to correct him!

having the same trouble, have clicked on lots of posts today but the thanks hasn't registered , very very slow loading as well

I found a lot of the time, after clicking the thanks and it not disappearing, I had to refresh the page and it would disappear then. Weird!

I have been having problems with posting, searching and thanking and the whole site has been running really slowly for me for a few days (for at least this week).

EDIT It took 30 seconds for this to post after I clicked the button.

Normally I give myself Wednesdays off from comping as it is far too slow and I just get frustrated (plus there's a few things on the telly lol!!) .......... but this is mega slow today and yesterday I found that aswell! I think with it being newsletter day and it pays to watch, the forum is starting to bulge at the seams!! :rotfl:

I really thoughtI had a problem with my internet yesterday as it was soooooo slow, but reading this thread obviously it must be a problem with the site. I've never known it to be this slow before It isn't any better today either really.
