I've just been to the co-op....

and they have....


900g jars of quality street half price for £3.99

Tins of biscuits (think they are Victorian or something, nice blue tin lol) 800g half price for £4.99

and 2009 annuals are BOGOF up there :D

    ok, so i post something in grabbit, it gets moved, i post something in here, it gets called non essential, i'm starting to see why people say they don't bother

    i wouldnt let the odd person who has nothing better to do than post to say he/she wont bother .. why bother to post then..

    Also Co-op were doing Rice Krispies for £1.09 a box which has ended now but its Shreddies which have now been reduced to £1.09 a box. Get em quick!

    Might be none essential to some but as far as I'm concerned Quality Street are definitely essential to our Christmas so thanks for the nudge in the co-op's direction. And before anyone launches into the low merits of Quality Street, my Nanna always bought us these treats and sadly she passed away this year so in terms of memories I couldn't give a hoot if Thorntons or whoever might be better quality. Everywhere seems to be doing the tin for a fiver but we don't really need that many so the jar is perfect ... thank you!

  • mmmm I walk past the Co Op twice a day on the school run so this is a great deal for me - thanks! We already have 2 tins of Roses put by for Xmas but might have to get some Quality Street too :D
