How do you mean 'cost me'?
You won't have to pay any fees if that's what you mean.

Whats your fixed rate? Say for example 5% of a 100k mortgage, you'd currently pay £590 ish. On the SVR of say 7.5 % you'd pay about £750.

You could probably find something to remortgage to with your existing lender. I just did this - my lovely discount rate ended so now I'm on a tracker with higher repayments, but much less than the SVR.

Not sure what you mean by have no money for a remortgage. If you mean the normal booking fee, this can usually be added to the mortgage anyway.

They even offered me more money, despite an 86% LTV!
