In a similar situation, does anyone have an answer to those dependant on monthly interest?

I spoke to ING last week, who advised that Kaupthing fixed term accounts would be allowed to run to completion, and then pay interest at Kaupthing's rate, not ING's! Too good to be true?

I just tried to log-in to Icesave and was told my password needed to be changed. Went through all the procedures, only to discover my new password, although within the specified limits, could not be accepted. Phone calls to Icesave.................cannot hang on indefinitely. Result: cannot access my account.

Fortunately, I had already followed previous MSE advice to print out my statements, but anyone else experienced the same problem?
