Timing for sausage and baked bean stew in oven/hob

Hi, just a quick question. I've picked up a recipe from one of the lovely people on this forum-it's a casserole using sausages, baked beans, 1 pint of stock, lentils and oats. It was for a slow cooker which I haven't got yet-going to look round the carboots for one. Could anyone tell me how long this would take on the hob/in the oven please? Thanks in advance.

The honest answer is that I don't know, I am not keen on sausages in a casserole, but I would have thought about 2 hours on a fairly low oven, but leave yourself a bit more time just in case, sorry not much help really
